The three companies will receive their awards in Málaga on 3 December, in an edition that has attracted a record 297 nominations and will once again bring together hundreds of business leaders and executives.
The winners of the 2026 Andalucía Management Awards have now been announced. Acesur, Instituto Español and Biorizon Biotech will be recognised this year for their business development, long-term growth and contribution to Andalucía’s economic and social landscape.
The awards ceremony will take place on 3 December at the Trade Fairs and Congress Centre of Málaga, as part of the 17th edition of Andalucía Management, one of the region’s leading business events.
This year’s awards received 297 nominations, a record figure that highlights the growing importance of the prizes within the Andalusian business community.
Acesur wins the Business Development Award
The Business Development award will go to Acesur.
The company has deep roots in the olive oil industry and has built a long track record of growth, international expansion and product development.
Its business model combines agro-industrial tradition with innovation, sustainability and a strong international presence.
Today, the group markets its products across numerous overseas markets and manages several well-known brands in Spain and abroad.
The awards organisation particularly highlights its ability to grow while maintaining a long-term strategy and a strong connection with Andalucía.
Instituto Español recognised as a leading family business
The Family Business award will go to Instituto Español.
The Huelva-based company has more than a century of experience in the perfume and cosmetics sector.
Across several generations, it has managed to preserve its family identity while expanding internationally and strengthening its investment in innovation.
Its trajectory reflects exactly what this category aims to recognise: companies capable of evolving without losing the values, identity and long-term vision that shaped their beginnings.
Its ties to Huelva and commitment to keeping a significant part of its activity and employment within the province also stand out.
Biorizon Biotech recognised for Social Impact
The third winner is Biorizon Biotech, which will receive the Social Impact award.
The Almería-based company develops biotechnology solutions linked to microalgae, agriculture and sustainability.
Its work focuses on areas such as soil regeneration, reducing reliance on certain chemical fertilisers and developing solutions for more sustainable agriculture.
Biorizon also combines business activity with research, university collaboration and international projects.
This model of growth, together with scientific innovation and positive environmental impact, has been one of the main factors recognised by the Andalucía Management Awards.
Nearly 300 nominations this year
The 2026 edition has reached 297 nominations, one of the most notable figures of this year’s competition.
The awards are designed to recognise Andalusian companies that contribute to economic and social development through growth, innovation, family-business continuity or positive impact on their surroundings.
The three main categories are:
- Business Development;
- Family Business;
- Social Impact.
Previous winners include companies such as Cosentino, Covirán, Osborne, Covap, Mayoral, Fuerte Hoteles, Bodegas Barbadillo and Grupo MAS, among others.
Málaga will once again host Andalucía’s business community
The awards ceremony will form part of the next edition of Andalucía Management, which will once again be held in Málaga.
The event will bring together business owners, executives and professionals to discuss topics related to management, leadership, economics, innovation, technology and artificial intelligence.
More than 650 business leaders and executives attended in 2025, with over 370 companies represented.
The 2026 edition will once again combine talks, networking and business-focused experiences.
Speakers from business, economics and innovation
A wide range of professionals from different fields have already been announced for this year’s programme.
The event will feature experts in communication, business management, economics, innovation, technology, artificial intelligence and leadership.
Among the confirmed speakers are Natalia Gironella, Josu Ugarte, Fidel Sendagorta, José Carlos Díez, Pilar Jericó, Néstor Guerra and Ousman Umar, among others.
The variety of profiles is intended to provide a broad view of the current challenges facing businesses and executives.
A recognition of the role of Andalusian companies
Over its different editions, the Andalucía Management Awards have become an important showcase for companies founded or developed in Andalucía that have successfully expanded within and beyond the region.
The 2026 winners also represent three very different business models.
Acesur reflects the international growth of a historic company linked to one of Andalucía’s most representative industries.
Instituto Español highlights the strength of generational continuity within a family business.
And Biorizon Biotech represents the rise of newer companies built around scientific innovation and sustainability.
Three different success stories that will place Andalucía’s business community in the spotlight once again on 3 December in Málaga.
