Costa del Sol AP-7 Tolls Drop as Málaga-Guadiaro Falls to €12

Low-Season Rates Return

Driving on the Costa del Sol’s AP-7 has become cheaper again since Wednesday 1 October. Following the end of the high season, the motorway has restored its standard tariff for all motorists.

The change affects the two sections managed by Autopista del Sol: Málaga-Estepona and Estepona-Guadiaro. The cost of the complete journey for a light vehicle has fallen from €19.55 to €12, representing a saving of €7.55 each way.

Current AP-7 Toll Prices

These are the main low-season prices for motorcycles, cars, two-axle vans and minibuses:

• Málaga-Calahonda: €3.55.
• Málaga-Marbella: €5.70.
• Málaga-San Pedro de Alcántara: €7.90.
• Málaga-Estepona: €9.55.
• Marbella-San Pedro de Alcántara: €2.20.
• Marbella-Estepona: €3.85.
• San Pedro de Alcántara-Estepona: €2.20.
• Estepona-Manilva: €1.20.
• Estepona-Guadiaro: €2.45.
• Manilva-Guadiaro: €1.20.
• Málaga-Guadiaro: €12.

The difference is particularly noticeable on longer journeys. Málaga-Estepona has fallen from €15.50 to €9.55, while travelling between Estepona and Guadiaro now costs €2.45, compared with €4.05 under the special-season tariff.

When Tolls Will Increase Again

The standard tariff will apply from October to May. Special prices will return between June and September and will also apply for a 17-day period around Easter.

Frequent users can retain the standard tariff throughout the year, including during the high season. To qualify, they must have completed at least 60 journeys during the previous four months using a card or payment system capable of recording their trips.

The motorway comprises two separate concessions, one for Málaga-Estepona and another for Estepona-Guadiaro. Loyalty conditions and discounts are therefore applied independently on each section.
