The Residenceby The Beach House MarbellaA boutique guesthouseon the beach...The Residence is a luxury bed and breakfast concept consisting of five beautifully appointed bedrooms, mature gardens and a saltwater pool. Located within the grounds of the privately owned Beach House restaurant in Marbella, this stylish accommodation boasts both exceptional levels of service and comfort. The interior décor is elegant and sophisticated throughout complementing the outstanding natural beauty of the striking beachfront location.Originally a warehouse forrecreational boats…You only have to look at the front elevation of the Beach House and you will start to learn a little bit about its past.  The off-centre gable end, somewhat now iconic, was designed to take the masts of recreational sailing boats, as back in the 60s the premises belonged to Club Med.  Then, eager holidaymakers would venture out on group excursions where they´d relax, engage in activities and of course enjoy lunch on the beach. Since the early days of Club Med, the Beach House has been a constant point of interest for tourists and residents alike owing to both the passion of the various proprietors and the unrivalled location.

Inside the iconic Puente Romano Hotel, in the heart of Marbella, you'll find Leña, the very first restaurant of this brand in the world, created by chef Dani García. The venue occupies the same space that once housed his three-Michelin-star restaurant, and has been named "the most beautiful restaurant in the world 2021" by the prestigious Restaurant & Bar Design Awards. Leña offers signature fire-and-grill cuisine, where flame and embers take center stage, set within a space that blends sophistication with vibrant energy. After reaching the pinnacle of fine dining, Dani García chose to reinvent himself, seeking a freer, more direct culinary language without ever losing his deep respect for the ingredient: this is how this distinctive steakhouse was born, where meat shines but shares the spotlight with a broad and creative menu. The restaurant also boasts a spectacular cocktail bar and an extensive wine cellar to round off the experience. Leña is also a highly sought-after venue for private and corporate events, with a private dining room for smaller groups and the option of exclusive hire of the whole restaurant for up to 110 guests. It also offers special gastronomic experiences — such as "Smoke Experience," "Fire Experience," or Krug pairings — perfect as gifts or a couple's night out. A must-visit for food lovers looking to combine a day of beach and shopping on the Costa del Sol with a world-class culinary experience by one of Spain's most internationally acclaimed chefs.

Discover Marbella

Marbella, on Málaga's Costa del Sol, has Phoenician and Roman roots: under Rome it was the thriving port known as "Salduba." In the 8th century it came under Muslim rule, flourishing as a trade and farming hub and leaving behind an architectural legacy still visible in its old town today. The Reconquista in the 15th century brought it into the Christian kingdom. From the 1950s onward, Marbella began drawing artists, writers, and celebrities seeking a Mediterranean escape. Through the 1960s and 70s it saw a tourism boom, with hotels and developments springing up, and in 1970 Puerto Banús opened — a symbol of the city's glamour and exclusivity. That growth brought challenges too, including real estate speculation, and in the decades since, Marbella has worked to balance tourism with conservation. Today it's synonymous with luxury, fine dining, and a vibrant lifestyle, remaining one of the most sought-after destinations on the Costa del Sol.

Living in Marbella

Choosing Marbella as a place to live on the Costa del Sol comes with many advantages.

Its beaches, like Playa de la Fontanilla and Nikki Beach, rank among the most beautiful in the area, and its Mediterranean climate allows for outdoor living year-round. The city is known for its exclusive lifestyle, with high-end boutiques, gourmet restaurants, and beach clubs that draw an international crowd.

As a regional economic hub, it offers business opportunities in tourism, hospitality, and retail, and regularly hosts events and conferences. Its natural surroundings, including the Sierra de las Nieves, invite hiking, while Puerto Banús anchors much of its lively nightlife.

Throughout the year, Marbella hosts music, art, and food festivals, and is home to a large international community that makes settling in easy. On the education front, it offers between 10 and 15 international schools, with British, American, IB, and Spanish curricula. Its infrastructure — hospitals, shopping centers, and wellness options like spas and gyms — rounds out a lifestyle built for comfort and health.

Marbella blends luxury, culture, nature, and community: an ideal place for those seeking a balance between relaxation, fun, and professional opportunity.
