Marbella’s Pink Tide Returns on 4 October to Support the Fight Against Breast Cancer

Marbella Will Turn Pink Again

Marbella will host the 14th Marea Rosa breast cancer charity event on Sunday, 4 October. The day will combine sport, solidarity and activities for the whole family.

Organised by the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Marbella, the event aims to raise awareness, support patients and their families and collect funds for care programmes and research.

The organisers hope to bring together more than 3,000 people under the campaign slogan “Nos lo tomamos a pecho.”

Warm-Up and Seafront Start

Activities will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Avenida del Mar with a functional warm-up session led by Raúl González.

The event itself will start at noon from Marbella’s seafront promenade. Participants will follow a route through the city before finishing at the Adolfo Suárez Conference and Exhibition Centre.

Race numbers have been introduced this year, giving the event a more sporting element while preserving its inclusive, family-friendly character.

A Solidarity Party at the Finish Line

Music, children’s entertainment and a charity food and drink bar will welcome participants at the conference centre.

The programme will also include a large charity raffle. Fifty commemorative bracelets will be among the prizes awarded using participants’ registration numbers.

Registration Costs €12

Registration costs €12 and includes the official T-shirt and race number. Online registration will remain open until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, 2 October, although the platform may add a processing fee.

Participants can also register at the Spanish Association Against Cancer’s Marbella office at 5 Avenida del Mar. Those unable to attend can support the initiative through its zero bib donation option.

Funds raised will support cancer research and the services offered to patients and families in Marbella, including psychological care, physiotherapy and personalised assistance.
