Rick Astley comes to Starlite Marbella this Friday for a night of pop nostalgia

Rick Astley will be one of the highlights of the week at Starlite Occident Marbella. The British singer, who became a pop icon in the 1980s, will take to the festival’s auditorium this Friday 10 July for a concert designed for fans looking to relive some of the biggest anthems of that era.

The audience will be able to hear live versions of songs that shaped his career, including Never Gonna Give You Up, Together Forever and Whenever You Need Somebody, tracks that made Astley one of the most recognisable voices in international pop.

Rick Astley’s career began in the late 1980s, when Never Gonna Give You Up became a worldwide success and took him to the top of international charts.

Decades later, the singer found a new wave of popularity thanks to the viral internet phenomenon known as rickrolling, which introduced his music to younger generations online.

The concert will take place at the Starlite Occident Marbella Auditorium, located in the Nagüeles Quarry. Doors are scheduled to open at 8 pm, with the main performance starting at 10 pm.
