Benalmádena is getting ready to dress up for fashion once again this September. On Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September 2026, the town will host a new edition of Benalmádena Moda, an event combining fashion, local commerce, creativity and emerging talent in two of the municipality’s most recognisable settings.

The programme will be split between Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmádena Costa, with the first evening taking place at Plaza de la Mezquita and the second at Castillo El Bil Bil. On both days, the photocall and reception will begin at 7:30 pm, with the fashion shows starting at 8:00 pm.

First night: local fashion and emerging designers in Arroyo de la Miel

The first catwalk will take place on Friday, 18 September at Plaza de la Mezquita, where a linear runway will be installed with a strong focus on local businesses and new designers.

Collections from Menta Moda, Noelia Noelia, Zerimar, The Times Shop, Flamenca Florido, Imalu and Miguel Miglionico will take to the runway.

One of the main highlights of the evening will be the Emerging Designers Competition, created to give new talent a platform to showcase their work.

The competition will feature Irene Villalobos, Teresa Perujo, Manuela Di Croce and María José Perujo, giving them the opportunity to present their designs in front of both the public and industry professionals.

The evening will also include a live performance by Latin pop singer Ana Romma.

Castillo El Bil Bil becomes a fashion runway on Saturday

On Saturday, 19 September, Benalmádena Moda will move to one of the most recognisable buildings on the seafront: Castillo El Bil Bil.

From 8:00 pm, a cross-shaped runway will host collections by José Perea, Sofía Santini, Laura Ortiz, Esteban Freiría and Hassan Bouchikhi.

The second night will also include the presentation of the Sustainability Award and Innovation Award, recognising new approaches to design and fashion creation.

Flamenco will also form part of the evening, with Adrián Ariza on guitar, Manuel Palomares on vocals and Lorena Gavilán dancing.

Fashion as a showcase for local businesses

Benalmádena Moda is about more than the catwalk itself.

The event aims to use fashion as a way to promote local businesses and commercial activity across the municipality.

The participation of established shops and brands gives them the opportunity to reach new audiences, while the emerging designers competition provides a dedicated platform for those at the beginning of their careers.

The event is also expected to generate additional activity for restaurants, bars and other businesses in Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmádena Costa during both evenings.

Two very different settings for one event

One of the most attractive features of this year’s edition will be the contrast between the two venues.

Plaza de la Mezquita will provide an urban setting in the heart of Arroyo de la Miel on Friday.

On Saturday, Castillo El Bil Bil will bring the fashion shows almost directly to the Mediterranean, using one of Benalmádena’s most photographed landmarks as the backdrop.

The two-night format will therefore offer different styles, designers and atmospheres without repeating the same experience.
