Fuengirola will once again fill its streets with atmosphere this Saturday 1 August with a new edition of La Noche Viva, one of the municipality’s major summer events. This year, the celebration will be dedicated to the 1980s and will feature the participation of 80 commercial and hospitality establishments, joining a night designed to energise the city and support local businesses.
The event will run from 8 pm to 2 am and will turn different public spaces in Fuengirola into open-air stages, with music, entertainment, shows and activities for residents and visitors.
A night dedicated to local businesses
La Noche Viva aims to boost commercial and hospitality activity during the summer, encouraging residents and tourists to go out, shop in local businesses and enjoy the city’s gastronomic offer.
The councillors for Festivities and Commerce, Isabel Moreno and Javier García Lara, have highlighted the strong response to this edition, which exceeds participation from previous years and confirms the involvement of the local business community in the initiative.
The 1980s take centre stage
The chosen theme for this year will be the 1980s, a decade marked by music, fashion, bright colours and popular culture. The decoration, activities and part of the programme will revolve around this imagery, with the aim of creating a festive, family-friendly and highly recognisable night.
The programme will include live music, entertainment, shows and activities spread across different areas of the municipality, combining street leisure with the activity of shops, bars and restaurants.
Plaza Suomi joins as a new venue
One of the main new features of this edition will be the incorporation of Plaza Suomi, in the Los Pacos neighbourhood, which joins the list of spaces hosting activities and entertainment. With this addition, the Town Hall expands the reach of the event and brings the programme to more areas of Fuengirola.
There joins the list of spaces hosting activities and entertainment.
