The Three Kings Parade in Rincón de la Victoria will feature eight floats and more than 10,000 kilograms of candy.

The Three Wise Men Parade in Rincón de la Victoria will feature eight floats in 2026 and will distribute a total, according to the local council, of 10,000 kilograms of candies, making it, as categorized by the City Hall, "the most complete and participative parade in the municipality".

The Councilor for Culture, Fairs, and Festivals, Mari Paz Couto, has outlined the new features for the Day of the Kings in Rincón de la Victoria. The first, and as she emphasized, "the most notable," is that the parade will start from La Cala del Moral, changing the usual direction of the route, and will end in Torre de Benagalbón at the Jaime Pimentel Park in Los Rubios.

The reception for the Wise Men will start at 11:00 AM on January 5th, at the Municipal Auditorium of Rincón de la Victoria. The subsequent parade will begin at 16:00 in La Cala del Moral and is expected to end at 19:00 in Torre de Benagalbón. According to Couto, there will be a party to welcome the Wise Men.

Themed floats for all audiences

From 19:00 hours, children will be able to wait there for the arrival of Melchior, Gaspar, and Balthazar, while enjoying a children's show, turning, as the councilor detailed, "the end of the route into a great family party." “Although the big party will start at 11:00 with the arrival of their majesties at the Municipal Auditorium in a very special way: in a large horse-drawn carriage, accompanied by their royal pages on horseback. There, children will be able to greet them, hug them, and take pictures with them in a close encounter, full of emotion and magic,” explained Couto.

The departure from La Cala del Moral is not the only novelty of 2026. "We are facing the largest and most participative parade held to date in Rincón de la Victoria,” Couto assured, explaining that the parade will have a variety of themes designed for all audiences. Among the eight expected floats, three will be themed with cartoon characters like Tom and Jerry, the Minions, or the Smurfs; two floats with cultural themes like Charlie Chaplin or Goya. And the third part of the floats will be themed with each majesty.

The City Council will provide 3,000 bags so that the little ones can collect their candies

Throughout the route, the City Council of Rincón de la Victoria expects to distribute more than 10,000 kilograms of candies, in addition to more than 3,000 bags for the little ones to store their candies. Additionally, the entertainment will include various street performances, where characters like The Lion King or Enchanted Venice can be seen, formed, according to Couto, "by circus professionals with tightrope walkers, dancers, and other artists who will fill the entire route with color and fantasy".

“We want to especially highlight the extensive participation of local groups and associations, which enrich this parade and turn it into a truly community event,” highlighted the councilor for Culture, Fairs, and Festivals. Additionally, she also pointed out that this year, the Municipal Music Band of Rincón de la Victoria, the Municipal Theater School, Gym Victory, Anímate a Bailar, Chely Urban Dance, Patricia Rodríguez Belly Dance Oriental Dance School, La Cala Dance Association, Cultural Association Helarte, and CD Rincón will participate in the street performances and various celebrations.

Additionally, the parade will include a section of the route with reduced sound, aimed at making a more inclusive parade, designed for children and people with auditory sensitivity. This section will extend from the Granadillas stream to Clínica Rincón.

Prior to the grand Wise Men's party, another novelty this year will be the special show “Cartero a la fuga” by the Seño de los Cuentos and ACAE, which will take place in Benagalbón, Torre de Benagalbón, and La Cala del Moral on January 2, 3, and 4.
