Torremolinos thus begins the festivities in honor of its patron saint, which this year includes several new features.

This year, the night fair will include a youth zone from the Recreo festival located in the bullring of the fairgrounds. A space where afro, flamenco, hip hop, disco, house, garage, dancehall, reggaeton, or breakbeat, among other styles, will be played. Entry is free and allowed only for those over 16 years old.
Meanwhile, the day fair will be held in the center of Torremolinos. Plaza de San Miguel, Plaza de la Unión Europea, and Plaza Costa del Sol will have daytime activities and bars with food and drink, as well as musical performances.
As a novelty, this year the Pinares de Torremolinos Equestrian Association has organized the I Horse Parade and Harness Contest of the San Miguel Fair, which will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM from the plot next to Aqualand to the fairgrounds and subsequent paella tasting in the Amigos de los Coches Clásicos de Torremolinos booth.
On Sunday, a floral offering to San Miguel is scheduled, starting at 6:00 PM from Plaza Pablo Ruiz Picasso to the church of the saint in the plaza of the same name.
On Monday, September 29, Torremolinos celebrates the day of its patron saint, San Miguel Archangel. The religious activities will begin at 9:30 AM with the mass sung by the San Miguel Choir in the plaza bearing his name.
The procession will start at 10:45 from the plaza and will travel through Santos Arcángeles, Danza Invisible, Joan Miró, Doctor Jiménez Encina, García de la Serna, Rafael Quintana Rosado, Europa, Isabel Manoja, Río Arba, Madre del Buen Consejo, los Manantiales, Costa del Sol, and San Miguel streets, accompanied by the IV Tercio of the Legion of Ronda.
That same Monday, starting at 7:00 PM, the Children's Day will be celebrated, with attractions at reduced prices.
This year, the City Council has included in the Torremolinos Despega APP Miguel, a virtual assistant that will operate 24 hours a day during the fair days in a multilingual format and will provide all the information about schedules, places of celebration, or artists performing at the fair, just by accessing the app and pressing the 'Ask Miguel' button.
