Children can join Fuengirola’s 2027 Three Kings Parade: how to apply for a place

The successful children and teenagers will experience the January 5 procession from a very special position: aboard one of the 25 floats accompanying Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar through the streets of Fuengirola.

When can families apply?

The application period will open at 9am on Monday, November 9, 2026, and close at 2pm on Monday, November 16.

Although the participation rules and application form can already be consulted, completed applications must be submitted during the official registration period. Families are advised to prepare the necessary information in advance.

Who is eligible to take part?

Places are divided into two groups according to the age of the participants:

• Children aged 6 to 12 may apply for the children’s floats.
• Young people aged 13 to 17 may apply for the royal floats.

Priority will be given to children officially registered as residents of Fuengirola. However, if places remain available after the initial application period, children who are not registered in the municipality may also be considered.

How to apply for the Fuengirola Three Kings Parade

Applications can be submitted in two ways:

• Online through Fuengirola Town Hall’s electronic office.
• In person at the Town Hall’s General Registry or the municipal offices in Los Boliches and El Boquetillo.

Only one application may be submitted per household. It must be completed correctly and signed by the child’s parent or legal guardian.

A parade featuring 25 floats

Fuengirola’s 2027 Three Kings Parade will feature 25 floats, bringing music, colourful characters, festive lights and Christmas excitement to the streets on January 5.

The selected children will do more than watch the procession from the pavement. They will become part of one of Spain’s most important and beloved family traditions.

Teenagers chosen for the royal floats will have the particularly memorable opportunity to travel as part of the procession accompanying the Three Kings.

Food intolerances must be declared

This year’s application form includes an important new section. Parents and guardians must state whether their child has any food intolerances.

Organisers will use this information when preparing the snack provided to participants during the parade. The measure is intended to make the experience safer and more comfortable for every child taking part.
