Sould Park Malaga to open before Christmas with rollercoasters, bowling and mini golf
The new family entertainment complex will open next to Plaza Mayor on 19 December 2026, offering dozens of rides, Malaga’s largest bowling alley, themed mini golf, food outlets and approximately 200 parking spaces. Entry will be free, with visitors paying separately for each activity.
Malaga is preparing to welcome a major new family attraction just before Christmas. Sould Park Malaga is scheduled to open on Saturday, 19 December 2026, next to Plaza Mayor shopping centre and McArthurGlen Designer Outlet.
Presented as the largest park operated by the company, the complex will combine outdoor rides, covered entertainment areas, a major bowling alley, themed mini golf, restaurants and event spaces.
Its opening will make it one of the most significant new family activities available during the Christmas holidays in Malaga and on the Costa del Sol.
The site covers approximately 21,000 square metres and represents a final investment of around €24 million, exceeding the early estimates announced for the project.
Two rollercoasters and rides for different ages
The outdoor amusement area will be one of the main attractions at Sould Park Malaga. It will feature dozens of rides aimed at children, teenagers and adults.
The announced attractions include:
- Two rollercoasters.
- Bumper cars.
- A children’s carousel.
- Flying chairs.
- A grasshopper-style ride.
- A children’s freefall tower.
- A super slide.
- Trampolines.
- A ball pit.
- A boating lake.
- Additional attractions for different age groups.
The company intends to provide entertainment for the whole family rather than focusing exclusively on very young children.
The park will also be able to host activities and live events, although the opening programme has not yet been revealed.
Malaga’s largest bowling alley
One of the most important parts of the new complex will be its bowling alley, described as the largest in Malaga province.
The indoor venue will include approximately 20 high-technology lanes, a VIP room and a sports bar. It will offer an alternative activity when it rains or when visitors prefer indoor entertainment.
The combination of indoor and outdoor facilities will allow the park to remain active throughout the year rather than operating only during the warmer months.
A 2,500-square-metre themed mini-golf course
Sould Park Malaga will also include a themed mini-golf course covering approximately 2,500 square metres.
It will provide an option for families, couples and groups of friends looking for a more relaxed activity than the mechanical rides.
The mini golf, bowling alley and indoor facilities will allow visitors to choose a single activity or combine several experiences during the same visit.
Restaurants and nine food trucks
The park will feature a café, bar, restaurants and a large food-truck area with approximately nine different stalls.
The expected selection includes:
- Pizza.
- Burgers.
- Hot dogs.
- Asian food.
- Kebabs.
- Cheesecake.
- Açaí bowls.
- Other casual dining options.
The company has also indicated that two American food brands could make their Spanish debut at the park, although their names have not yet been officially announced.
The range of food outlets will make it possible to spend several hours at the complex without leaving the site for a meal.
Free entry and a pay-per-ride system
General admission to Sould Park Malaga will be free. Visitors will only pay for the rides, games or activities they choose to use.
Payments will be made through a rechargeable Sould Park prepaid card or the company’s mobile application. The card can be topped up at ticket desks and machines inside the park.
It will also be possible to use the same system to purchase food and drinks, reducing the need to carry cash.
Individual prices for the rides, mini golf and bowling have not yet been published. The company has also not confirmed whether it will introduce family packages, opening promotions or multi-activity passes.
Open throughout the year
The new Sould Park intends to operate every day of the year, although opening hours will vary by area, day of the week and season.
The bowling alley, outdoor attractions, mini golf and restaurants may each follow different schedules.
Final opening times and prices are expected to be announced before the launch. Visitors should therefore check the latest information before travelling during the opening weeks.
Where to find Sould Park Malaga
The park is located in the Plaza Mayor area, east of the shopping centre and close to the Porcelanosa store, the motorway and several restaurants.
Its position provides convenient access from Malaga city, the airport and the main resorts along the Costa del Sol.
The complex will have its own car park with approximately 200 spaces, in addition to the existing parking areas serving the surrounding retail district.
Getting there by public transport
Plaza Mayor Cercanías railway station is within walking distance of the park.
The C1 commuter railway line connects the area with Malaga Centro-Alameda, María Zambrano station, Malaga Airport, Torremolinos, Benalmádena and Fuengirola.
The train is likely to be one of the easiest ways to reach the park, particularly during weekends and the Christmas holidays when visitor numbers are expected to be higher.
A new Christmas holiday attraction
Opening on 19 December will allow Sould Park Malaga to begin operating at the start of the school Christmas holidays.
Its mixture of rides, bowling, mini golf and food outlets will enable families to plan a full visit without depending entirely on the weather.
The complex aims to attract as many as three million visitors per year and could provide employment for approximately 70 people.
