Marbella Tostón 2026: free roasted chestnuts, music and family activities
Nagüeles Park will host one of Marbella’s most traditional autumn celebrations on Sunday, 1 November, featuring free roasted chestnuts, inflatable attractions, children’s entertainment, music and a charity food and drink bar.
Marbella will welcome November with one of its most popular seasonal traditions. The Marbella Tostón 2026 will bring families and groups of friends together at Nagüeles Park on Sunday, 1 November for a day of food, music and outdoor entertainment.
Activities will begin around midday, with a programme designed for visitors of all ages. Admission will be free, although food and drinks purchased from the event’s charity bar will be charged separately.
The highlight of the afternoon will be the free distribution of freshly roasted chestnuts.
Free roasted chestnuts at Nagüeles Park
Chestnuts will once again take centre stage at the Marbella Tostón. Free portions will be handed out between 4pm and 6pm, giving visitors the chance to enjoy one of the most distinctive flavours of the Andalusian autumn.
Roasted over a fire and traditionally eaten while still warm, chestnuts are closely connected with All Saints’ Day celebrations in towns and villages across southern Spain.
The Marbella Tostón is more than a food event. It is also an opportunity for local residents and visitors to spend time together in one of the municipality’s best-known natural settings.
Inflatable attractions, music and children’s entertainment
The programme will be particularly suitable for families with children. The event will include children’s entertainment, inflatable attractions and music, as well as other activities for younger visitors.
Nagüeles Park has extensive wooded areas and plenty of outdoor space. Many families therefore choose to bring a picnic and spend much of the day at the park.
The celebration usually attracts a large number of people, so arriving early is advisable. Parking spaces around the venue may also be limited during the busiest hours.
Charity bar supporting Marbella’s brotherhoods
A food and drink bar will be available throughout the event, allowing visitors to purchase refreshments while enjoying the programme.
Proceeds from the bar will go to the Marbella Association of Brotherhoods, adding a charitable purpose to the day’s food and entertainment.
The initiative will help support the organisation’s activities while also providing visitors with additional food and drink options during their time at the park.
Tostón celebrations in San Pedro Alcántara and Las Chapas
The autumn festivities will not be limited to Nagüeles Park. Other areas of Marbella municipality will hold their own Tostón activities on the same day.
In San Pedro Alcántara, the celebration will take place at Parque de los Tres Jardines, approximately between 12 noon and 6pm.
In Las Chapas, activities are scheduled at the Active Participation Centre from 5pm to 9pm.
These additional celebrations will allow residents from different parts of the municipality to enjoy a tradition combining local food, nature and family entertainment.
An Andalusian autumn tradition
The tostón is a popular Andalusian custom associated with the days around All Saints’ Day. Families and friends traditionally gather in the countryside or in public parks to roast chestnuts and share a meal.
In Marbella, the tradition has grown into a major family event while retaining its original connection with chestnuts and the arrival of autumn.
The celebration is also an excellent opportunity to discover Nagüeles Park, located close to Sierra Blanca and only a short drive from central Marbella.
How to reach Nagüeles Park
Nagüeles Park is located in northern Marbella, close to Sierra Blanca. It can be reached by car from the town centre, although traffic congestion and parking difficulties may occur around the venue during the event.
Visitors planning to spend several hours at the park should wear comfortable clothing and bring water and anything else they may need for an outdoor day. Checking the weather forecast before travelling is also recommended.
