Marbella Hosts a Children’s Halloween Party with Costumes, Inflatables and a Market
Marbella’s La Patera neighbourhood will hold a family Halloween party on Friday 30 October. The programme includes children’s entertainment, an inflatable castle, a costume competition and a market selling second-hand books and other items.
Children’s Halloween Party on Calle Juanar
Families in Marbella will be able to begin their Halloween celebrations one day before the town’s main municipal programme.
The Fernando de los Ríos residents’ association will organise a children’s party at the park on Calle Juanar in the La Patera neighbourhood.
Activities will run from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday 30 October, with support from Marbella Town Hall’s Citizen Participation Department.
Inflatable Castle and Children’s Entertainment
The programme has been designed particularly for younger children and combines games, costumes and outdoor entertainment.
An inflatable castle will be installed in the park, while children’s entertainer Mimosín will lead games and activities throughout the afternoon.
The neighbourhood event will offer families a relaxed environment in which to enjoy Halloween together.
Halloween Costume Competition
Children are encouraged to attend in costume and participate in the fancy-dress competition.
Witches, ghosts, vampires, skeletons and film characters are expected to fill the park during the three-hour celebration.
The organisers have not announced separate categories, prizes or advance registration requirements. Families can ask for further details at the event.
Second-Hand Books and Items
A market selling books and second-hand items will be introduced as the main new feature this year.
The initiative will add a community element to the celebration while encouraging items to be reused rather than discarded.
Food at Affordable Prices
A food stall offering products at affordable prices will also operate during the party.
No specific menu or prices have been published, but the stall will allow families to buy refreshments without leaving the park.
A Community Celebration in La Patera
The Fernando de los Ríos association’s Halloween party has become a regular event in the neighbourhood calendar.
Its smaller community format provides an alternative to Marbella’s larger celebrations and may be particularly suitable for families with younger children.
Marbella’s Main Halloween Programme Follows on Saturday
Marbella will continue its celebrations on Saturday 31 October with The Kingdom of Shadows, the Town Hall’s main Halloween programme.
Activities will begin at 6:00 p.m. and take place across Paseo de la Alameda, Avenida Nabeul and Parque de la Represa.
The programme will feature inflatables, costume activities, dance performances, workshops, rides and several haunted attractions. The main event ends at midnight, while the youth party will continue until 2:00 a.m.
