Free magic show in Fuengirola this Sunday: ‘Magic Sundays’ return to Los Boliches
Plaza del Carmen will host a new free family-friendly magic show on Sunday, 20 September, starting at 1:00 pm.
Los Boliches has a different kind of family plan this Sunday. Fuengirola’s Plaza del Carmen will once again become the stage for ‘Magic Sundays’, a series of free magic shows held on selected Sundays throughout the year.
The next event will take place on Sunday, 20 September 2026 at 1:00 pm, marking the return of the programme after its summer break.
Magic, humour and audience participation will be at the heart of this open-air activity, designed especially for families and completely free to attend.
A free magic show in the heart of Los Boliches
The event will take place in Plaza del Carmen, one of the best-known public spaces in Los Boliches.
From 1:00 pm, audiences will be able to enjoy a show by Grupo Más Animación, the company behind the different performances included in the series.
The format is designed to involve both children and adults, with interaction, surprises and humour playing an important part in the experience.
Best of all, admission is free.
‘Magic Sundays’ return after the summer break
The programme began in March and is designed as a recurring family activity on selected Sundays throughout the year, excluding the summer months.
The 20 September show marks the return of the series after that seasonal pause.
There will still be two more opportunities to enjoy the programme before the end of 2026: 18 October and 15 November, both on Sundays and scheduled, in principle, for 1:00 pm.
The idea is to turn Plaza del Carmen into a regular meeting point for families while adding more leisure options to the cultural calendar in Los Boliches.
An easy plan to combine with a Sunday in Fuengirola
The timing also makes it easy to include the show in a wider Sunday plan.
As the performance starts around lunchtime, it can be combined with a walk through Los Boliches, lunch nearby or an afternoon along the seafront and beach.
That simplicity is one of the main attractions of the event: there is no need for complicated planning or a special venue. Visitors can simply head to Plaza del Carmen and enjoy a free show in the heart of the neighbourhood.
For families looking for things to do with children in Fuengirola this Sunday, ‘Magic Sundays’ offers an easy alternative to the usual beach, park or shopping-centre plans.
Culture and entertainment in Fuengirola’s public squares
The series forms part of Fuengirola’s wider efforts to bring cultural and leisure activities directly into local neighbourhoods.
In this case, Plaza del Carmen becomes a small open-air stage, offering entertainment in a format that is free, accessible and suitable for all ages.
Residents and visitors can enjoy the next session on Sunday, 20 September at 1:00 pm, before the programme continues in October and November.
The full dates and details of ‘Magic Sundays’ can be found in the official information published by Fuengirola Town Hall.
