08pm Brings Intimate Sunset Concerts to Marbella with Miss Caffeina, Sidecars and Los Secretos
ME Marbella will host ten Spanish artists between June and September in a limited-capacity series combining live music, gastronomy and Mediterranean views.
Marbella’s sunsets will have their own soundtrack this summer with 08pm, an intimate acoustic concert series taking place at ME Marbella from June 12 to September 19, 2026.
The programme brings together established artists and emerging voices from the Spanish music scene in small-capacity performances designed to offer a much closer experience than a traditional summer festival.
Sofía Ellar, Andrés Suárez, David Otero, Carlos Sadness, Sidecars, Miss Caffeina and Los Secretos are among the names included in a line-up that combines live music, food, drinks and privileged views of the Mediterranean.
Live Music as the Sun Sets Over Marbella
The 08pm concept is built around sunset.
Doors usually open at 8:00 p.m., while the concerts begin at 9:00 p.m., allowing guests to enjoy the changing light as the first songs of the evening begin.
Unlike large-scale outdoor concerts, the series focuses on a more exclusive atmosphere, with very limited capacity for each performance.
The acoustic format places greater emphasis on the artists’ voices, lyrics and instruments, creating a more direct connection between the performers and the audience.
The experience is completed with food and drinks in some of the hotel’s most distinctive spaces, including the Penthouse and the Secret Garden.
Andrés Suárez Opens the July Programme
After the first performances by Sofía Ellar and Georgina in June, the programme continues on Wednesday, July 8, with Andrés Suárez.
The Galician singer-songwriter will perform at ME Marbella’s Secret Garden, presenting songs from his career alongside material from Lúa, his tenth studio album.
His music combines singer-songwriter traditions, pop-rock, ballads and Latin American influences, with lyrics centred on relationships, travel and personal emotions.
David Otero and Fredi Leis Complete July’s Line-Up
The next concert will take place on Wednesday, July 22, with David Otero, one of the best-known figures in Spanish pop.
After his time as a member of El Canto del Loco, the singer, songwriter and guitarist developed a successful solo career featuring accessible melodies and songs such as Una foto en blanco y negro and Baile.
On Wednesday, July 29, Fredi Leis will bring his intimate combination of piano, pop and singer-songwriter music to the Penthouse.
The Galician musician is known for emotional lyrics and songs including Fugitiva, Mariposas, Portobello and 9.000 heridas.
Javi Chapela and Carlos Sadness Perform in August
The August programme begins on Saturday, August 1, with Javi Chapela, one of the emerging voices in Spanish pop-rock.
The artist will present songs from Futuros Propósitos, a project combining pop, indie influences and lyrics inspired by the experiences and emotions of his generation.
On Thursday, August 6, Carlos Sadness will perform at the Secret Garden with his distinctive blend of indie pop, poetry and tropical sounds.
His set will include material from albums such as Diferentes tipos de luz, Tropical Jesus and Realismo mágico, alongside more recent releases.
Sidecars and Miss Caffeina Among the Main Highlights
On Sunday, August 23, Sidecars will present songs from Everest, their eighth studio album.
The Madrid band will combine rock, mid-tempo songs and some of the best-known tracks from a career spanning more than 18 years.
Four days later, on Thursday, August 27, Miss Caffeina will offer a special acoustic performance.
The group will present a more intimate version of songs such as Mira cómo vuelo, Reina, Merlí and Cuando acabe el verano, while preserving the pop and electronic sensitivity that defines their sound.
Los Secretos Close the Series with a Private Concert
The final date of the programme will be Saturday, September 19, with a private performance by Los Secretos.
The band will revisit a career spanning more than four decades, including songs such as Déjame, Pero a tu lado, La calle del olvido and Ojos de gata.
The experience will also include a tribute dinner scheduled for the previous day, inspired by the group’s music and created by chef Periko Ortega.
Guests interested in attending the closing event will need to contact the hotel directly for access details.
