From May 25 to May 31, Fuengirola will once again become an international meeting point for diversity, culture, and inclusive leisure with a new edition of the Fulanita Fest Experience 2026. This edition will feature LBT personalities such as Dulceida, Nerea Pérez de las Heras, Judith Tiral, Ptazeta, Carla Flila, and Pitu Aparicio. The program will include concerts, live podcasts, cultural, sports, and family activities, as well as the presence of actresses Kate Moennig and Leisha Hailey, icons of the series The L Word, "consolidating the city as the host of the largest lesbian festival in the world," as highlighted by the Fuengirola City Council.

The complete program was presented today by the Councilor for Culture and Major Events, Rodrigo Romero, and the event organizers Ruth Franco and Javier Ojeda, who introduced the main contents of this initiative that will have Marenostrum Fuengirola and other municipal spaces such as Castillo Sohail or the Sports Port as its epicenter. Romero emphasized "the firm municipal commitment once again" to an event "that is part of the open, diverse, and inclusive identity of Fuengirola".

Castillo Sohail will host a special edition of the videopodcast 'Está el horno para bollos' and a monologue by the disseminator and writer Pitu Aparicio

Among the main new features of this edition is the incorporation of Dulceida as the festival's godmother, responsible for welcoming the big concert day on May 30 at Marenostrum Fuengirola, where artists such as Fangoria, Natalia Lacunza, Chanel, and Violeta will perform. Additionally, on May 29, Castillo Sohail will host a special edition of the videopodcast 'Está el horno para bollos', presented by Nerea Pérez de las Heras and Judith Tiral, with the participation of Dulceida, Ptazeta, Carla Flila, Chanel, and Violeta.

The program also incorporates the monologue 'La bollera perfecta', by the disseminator and writer Pitu Aparicio, recently recognized with the FELGTBI+ Pluma Award, as well as the presence of actresses Kate Moennig and Leisha Hailey, stars of The L Word, who will participate in a signing of their book So Gay For You.

The festival, which gathers around 10,000 attendees per edition, will also include sports activities, cinema, cultural proposals, family programming, and opening and closing parties, reinforcing Fuengirola's positioning as a safe, diverse, and international destination.
