Rincón de la Victoria will have a mobile unit dedicated to conducting the breast cancer screening program, which, according to the Regional Government, has affected 2,317 women across Andalusia. Therefore, this initiative is aimed at the early detection of this disease among women aged between 49 and 71 years from the local area.

The mobile unit will be set up in the Plaza de la Constitución from March 20 to July 27, facilitating, according to the city council, access to preventive tests for the residents of the municipality and promoting the importance of regular check-ups for early detection.

The Health Councilor, Lola Ramos, explained: "This program is part of the health prevention actions promoted by the Andalusian Regional Government, with the collaboration of the Health Department of the Rincón de la Victoria City Council, and aims to improve early diagnosis of breast cancer, thus increasing the chances of effective treatment and recovery."

In this regard, the mayor of Rincón de la Victoria, Francisco Salado, emphasized the importance of prevention. “It is extremely important that, from the administrations, we continue to promote preventive health and awareness about the importance of regular check-ups for early detection of breast cancer.”

Women within the established age range can visit the mobile unit to undergo the corresponding tests within the screening program. For more information or to resolve any questions, interested individuals can contact through the phone number 677 007 017 or via email at info@cribadoandalucia.com.

Although the Ministry of Health and Consumption has already sent the required informative letters to women within this age range, the City Council considers that initiatives of this nature are crucial to continue raising awareness about the importance of regular controls in the prevention of breast cancer.
