The Three Kings Parade in Estepona will distribute 16,000 kilos of candy
The parade will feature 12 floats and 5 street performances with fantastic characters. Estepona enhances its Christmas floral beautification with 23,000 plants.
The Three Wise Men from the East will distribute 16,000 kilograms of candies and more than 3,000 balls during the parade that will travel through the streets of Estepona next Monday, January 5th. The parade will feature 12 floats and 5 street acts with fantastic characters, as announced this Friday by the councilor of Festivities, Macarena Diánez.
The councilor highlighted that the Three Kings Parade "is one of the most special and anticipated days of the year, especially for the children of Estepona, who experience this day with a unique excitement."
Diánez explained that this year the parade will feature a very visual and attractive theme for the children's audience, with floats and street acts inspired by the world of superheroes and princesses, "characters that are part of the children's imagination and will fill the streets with fantasy, color, and fun throughout the route."
She also noted that the floats of Their Majesties the Wise Men will be inspired by Asia, "as a nod to the oriental origin of Melchior, Caspar, and Balthazar, adding an exotic and special touch that will enhance the magic of the parade even more."
Route
The parade of the Three Wise Men will start at 17:00 hours from the Town Hall, and will continue along Juan Carlos I Avenue, Andalucía Avenue, Spain Avenue, and Terraza Street, until reaching the Botanical Park Orchidarium. There, around 20:00 hours, Their Majesties will collect letters from the children.
The parade will be enlivened by the music of Estepona's pastorales 'Nostalgic Christmas' and 'Jesus Captive', from the Municipal Music Band, the Vera+Cruz Union Musical Band, and the Virgen de Los Remedios Musical Group.
Additionally, Diáñez reminded that on Monday, starting at 11:30 hours, a children's party will be held at the Fair, Sports, and Leisure Park to welcome the Three Wise Men. The event will be entertained by the magician Rubén and his show 'Magical Christmas'. The arrival of the Three Wise Men is scheduled around 13:00 hours.
On the other hand, in the urban core of Cancelada, the Three Kings Parade will start its route at 17.00 hours from the Deputy Mayor's Office, on Montemayor Street, continuing through La Vaguada Street, Loma de Retamar Road, Quevedo Street, Marqués del Duero Avenue, Familia Romero Street, Paraíso Street, Revuelta Street, Marqués del Duero Avenue, and ending at Juventud Square, where Their Majesties the Wise Men will give gifts to the children. The councilor for the outskirts, Begoña Ortiz, noted that during the parade, candies, balls, and toys will be distributed.
The Royal Mailman will be at the Auditorium
Prior to the parades, the Royal Mailman will collect letters addressed to the Wise Men tomorrow Saturday, January 3rd, from 17:00 to 20:00 hours, in the lobby of the Auditorium.
Regarding the safety measures adopted by the City Council for this event, the route will have a device composed of agents from the Local Police, the National Police Corps (CNP), Civil Protection, Emergency Services, and Firefighters.
