Estepona hosts a charity market this Saturday in support of the ‘Los pasos de Noa’ association.

The neighborhood of Cancelada, in Estepona, will host the first charity night market 'La noche de Noa' next Saturday, May 30th, which will raise funds for this girl suffering from 'spinal muscular atrophy', a genetic and degenerative disease for which there is currently no cure, although there is treatment, as reported by the City Council this Wednesday.

The Deputy Mayor of the Outskirts area, Begoña Ortiz, highlighted that it is a market of handcrafted products, which will feature 30 varied stands.

The councilwoman noted that in addition to its recreational character, this activity aims to promote neighborly coexistence, citizen participation, and supportive aid for a very necessary cause, such as the 'Los pasos de Noa' association.

The event will have a schedule starting at 6:30 PM with the market, which will include a concert by the choir 'Son y Sal' at 7:30 PM, followed by a performance by the dance academy 'Sólo Flamenco', led by teacher Ana Guerrero, at 8:30 PM. From 9:30 PM, the space will feature entertainment by DJ Pepe, as reported by the municipal official.

Additionally, she pointed out that parallel activities such as a themed photocall, where attendees can take fun photos, children's and craft workshops, and a large scavenger hunt through the patios of Cancelada will be conducted.

Meanwhile, the president of the Los pasos de Noa Association, María José Fernández Marchante, explained that there will be a charity bar with food and drinks, whose proceeds will go to this cause.

She also wanted to thank the City Council for all the support provided and encouraged citizen participation "because Noa needs your help".
