Juanma Moreno inaugurates the Los Pacos health center, the first public health center in Fuengirola in 40 years.
It will serve a population of 19,000 residents, offering new services such as physiotherapy, rehabilitation, radiology, and dentistry.
Ana Mula has recalled that the Fuengirola City Council ceded
the land to build the health center in the Los Pacos neighborhood in
2007, with Esperanza Oña then being the mayor.
The Los Pacos health center, which opened its doors yesterday
Wednesday, employs 44 professionals and will serve a population of 19,000
people who will receive services such as physiotherapy,
rehabilitation, radiology, and dentistry which until now required travel to the neighboring municipality of Mijas.
The opening of the Los Pacos health center will be
complemented by the expansion of the Los Boliches health center, which has involved an investment of two million euros,
in construction and equipment, and whose works were completed last January and are currently receiving the final touches.
