Charity padel tournament in Estepona to support Nicolás, an 11-year-old boy who suffered a brain tumor

The Estepona Tennis and Padel Club will host a charity padel tournament on the 7th, 8th, and 9th of November aimed at raising funds for Nicolás, an 11-year-old boy suffering from neurological sequelae due to a brain tumor.

Although the tumor is in remission, Nicolás requires specialized treatments in Barcelona that are costly and difficult for his family to finance. Therefore, this charitable event seeks to mobilize athletes, neighbors, and local businesses to support his recovery and improve his quality of life.

The tournament will include all categories, and registrations can be made through the Bola app. Additionally, a large charity raffle with prizes for attendees will be held, and a support row will be available during the days of the draw, as well as the sale of charity merchandise, so that everyone, even those who do not play, can contribute to this cause.

The Councilor for Sports, Luis Miguel Gil, has shown his support for this initiative and has stated that, once again “sport is a tool to bring people together and demonstrate that extraordinary things can be achieved. We want all of Estepona to rally around Nicolás and his family because this is not just a padel tournament, but an act of solidarity and hope.”

For his part, Alberto Gil, president of the Estepona Tennis and Padel Club, has encouraged everyone to participate in this tournament and support this cause. In this regard, he has noted that the tournament is open to all ages and categories. Additionally, attendees can contribute on-site.
