Jennifer Lopez Sparks a Storm at Marenostrum Fuengirola

Three weeks earlier, no one imagined that Jennifer Lopez would be performing on Friday, July 11, at Marenostrum Fuengirola, where she had previously performed in 2019. The date for her third concert of the European tour 'Up all night' was originally scheduled at the Ciudad de Málaga Athletics Stadium, but on June 23, the promoter Last Tour announced a change to the Fuengirola venue "due to logistical reasons." Regardless of the reason, which the press did not have access to, it was indeed in JLo's destiny to return to Marenostrum in front of more than 14,000 people.

However, the start was not smooth. The doors were supposed to open to the public at 7:45 PM, but it wasn't until 9:39 PM, as night fell, that the desperate fans gained access to the Marenostrum track. The delay was caused by strong wind gusts, which led to the fall of some stage elements. The crew prepared and secured everything to ensure the concert proceeded without incidents and to protect the safety of the Bronx diva, her musicians, and fans.

Eventually, the concert did not start until 10:48 PM, nearly an hour later than planned. "It was horrendous," Mercedes told SUR when she managed to enter the track. "We were all very excited at first, but we ended up desperate," commented her friend Rosario, who had also been at the 2019 concert. But many fans soon began to forget their sadness and anger. Jennifer Lopez had hit the stage with some of her anthems, 'On the Floor' and 'Ain't Your Mama'. A Spanish guitar began playing from the right corner of the stage. On the other side, JLo's most Flamenco side could be seen in her show. With 'Gracias a la vida' by Mercedes Sosa, the American wanted to be a bit closer to the Spanish culture and received a great ovation from the audience. And she again changed her style, this time back to sequins and sparkle all over, unleashing madness with 'Dance Again'.

The impressive choreography of 'Let's Get Loud' with giant feather fans began to mark the end of Jennifer Lopez's show. After disappearing to change her look again, she returned with 'Free' to add a much sweeter and tender touch, so much so that one of the little girls attending the concert—many families were at Marenostrum—climbed onto her father's shoulders to make hearts with her hands dedicated to the American artist.
