FreakCon 2025, held this past weekend in Torremolinos, has closed its ninth edition, which according to the organizers was "the most complete edition in its history" and ... sold out on both days, with an expected 45,000 tickets sold. There have been more than 400 hours of activities across 6 different stages, 60 guests and 70 artists at a convention that coincided with the celebration of World Geek Pride Day as it deserves.

Stars such as Arturo González-Campos and Bartolomé Rebollo, authors Isaac Sánchez or Iria and Selene, performers like Mery Lauren or Elesky, content creators like Mister Jägger or Tami Tamako, and illustrators like Guillermo Mogorrón or Nacho Fernández are some of the prominent names of this edition.

There were exhibitions, wrestling shows, craft workshops, and all sorts of entertainment, including board games, K-pop contests, chess tournaments, Dance Dance Revolution, and live music.

Attendees also enjoyed green spaces, rest areas, food stalls, and indoor and outdoor activities for all ages.

The celebration of FreakCon 2025 was also made possible thanks to the support of brands such as Opel, the official car of the festival, as well as Lego, Game, Bandai Namco, Burger King, Redbull, Posca, Nexxo, OXO Video Game Museum, Evad, SUR, and Erik Store. On the institutional side, it had the support of the Torremolinos City Council, the Malaga Provincial Council, and the Digital Agency of Andalusia from the Andalusian Regional Government, who have recognized FreakCon as a cultural and tourist engine for the city and the entire province of Malaga.
