The registration period is now open for families to enroll their children, starting from three years old, in the Municipal Summer School. Classes will take place at the Sohail, El Tejar, and Valdelecrín schools.

"Through this municipal initiative, we allow the people of Fuengirola to balance family life with work, and on the other hand, we also contribute to job creation in our city," explained the Councilor for Education, Carmen Díaz, who presented the initiative together with the people responsible for this activity, Paula Carrión (psychologist) and Ana Calzado (pedagogue).

As detailed, the monthly price per participant will be as follows: morning classroom: 25.41 euros; general activity schedule: 145.20 euros; dining room: 121 euros.

For her part, the psychologist for this activity, Paula Carrión, explained that "this year there will be special learning themes different each month. Thus, July will be dedicated to the human body and August, to the animal kingdom."

Additionally, during these two summer months, numerous activities will take place including scavenger hunts, excursions to different sites in the city, crafts, or directed games, which will be adapted to the ages of the participants.

The summer school will take place at the Sohail, El Tejar, and Valdelecrín schools during the months of July and August and is aimed at children from three years old who have been enrolled in Preschool Education, that is, children born in 2021, up to children who have been schooled this year in sixth grade, that is, 12 or 13 years old.
