Guau Fest Returns to Casares Costa with Free Activities for Dogs and Families

A Day Out with Pets

Casares Costa will celebrate the third Guau Fest on Sunday 27 September, bringing together dogs, their families and anyone interested in animal welfare.

The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. in Jardines del Rosario. Admission is free, and visitors are welcome to attend with their pets.

Families, associations, professionals and businesses connected to the pet sector will gather in an environment designed to encourage responsible ownership, learning and community.

Dog Training Talks, Workshops and Specialist Stalls

The programme will include talks on canine learning, behaviour and training. These sessions will help owners better understand their dogs’ needs and provide advice for improving everyday life with them.

Visitors will also find stalls offering pet-related products and services, children’s workshops, free gifts and various surprises throughout the day.

Food and drink will be available at the venue, making it possible to spend much of the day enjoying the gardens and the different activities.

A Canine Unit Demonstration

One of the programme’s highlights will be the participation of a Canine Unit, introducing visitors to the work performed by trained service dogs.

The activity will provide an opportunity to discover some of their abilities and learn more about the training required for professional and assistance work.

Part of the Deja Huella Campaign

Guau Fest forms part of Casares Town Hall’s Deja Huella campaign, which promotes respect for animals, responsible pet ownership and the proper use of public spaces.

Alongside its entertainment programme, the event aims to raise awareness about cleaning up after dogs and encouraging positive relationships between pets and the wider community.
