Imserso trips 2026-2027 in Málaga: bookings open on 14 September

Málaga residents accredited for the 2026-2027 Imserso Tourism Programme can now mark an important date in their calendars. Bookings in Andalusia will open on Monday 14 September 2026.

That first day will be reserved for users with preferred accreditation, while non-preferred users will be able to book from Tuesday 15 September. From Wednesday 16 September, they will also be able to access any places still available within their provincial allocation.

From Saturday 19 September, remaining unsold places from other provinces will also become available.

Bookings open from 9am

Imserso has started sending accreditation letters to users included in the programme.

These letters indicate the exact booking date for each person and include a four-digit code required for online reservations.

Bookings will open from 9am on the assigned day.

Those booking online will need to enter their ID number and accreditation code. Anyone who prefers to book in person can visit a participating travel agency and present their DNI or identity document.

Turismo Social and Mundicolor will manage bookings

The booking platform depends on the type of trip selected.

Turismo Social will manage mainland coastal destinations and short-break trips, while Mundicolor will handle island destinations in the Balearic and Canary Islands.

Bookings can also be made through their mobile apps or authorised travel agencies.

For the 2026-2027 season, Imserso is offering 879,213 places in total: 440,284 for mainland coastal holidays, 228,142 for island destinations and 210,787 for short-break tourism.

How much do Imserso trips cost in 2026-2027?

Prices vary depending on destination, length of stay, travel dates and whether transport is included.

For the mainland coast, a 10-day, nine-night stay with transport starts from around €309.22 during the standard season, while eight-day trips start from around €244.04.

For the Balearic Islands, 10-day stays with transport start from €353.37, while eight-day trips begin at €285.29.

In the Canary Islands, a 10-day stay with transport starts from €464.72, while eight-day options begin at €378.75.

Short-break trips include cultural circuits from €312.51, nature tourism from €305.75, provincial capital breaks from €132.91 and trips to Ceuta or Melilla from €305.75.

A €100 high-season supplement applies to certain dates.

€50 trips for pensioners with lower incomes

The 2026-2027 season keeps one of the programme’s most important recent measures.

Imserso has reserved 7,447 places at a fixed price of just €50, regardless of destination, for people whose financial resources are equal to or below the level of non-contributory retirement or disability pensions and who receive the highest scores in the selection process.

Imserso covers the difference between the €50 paid by the traveller and the actual cost of the trip.

Travelling with pets remains possible

The programme will also continue to offer places for people wishing to travel with their pets.

This option is available for both mainland and island coastal destinations, subject to accommodation, transport and animal welfare regulations.

Key dates for Málaga residents

For residents in Málaga and the rest of Andalusia, the main dates are:

• 14 September: bookings open for preferred users.
• 15 September: bookings open for non-preferred users.
• 16 September: access to further places still available within the province.
• 19 September: remaining places from any province become available.

Bookings will remain open throughout the season for as long as places are still available.
