Manilva to celebrate the Fiesta de la Luna with a night of magic, music and seaside shows

Manilva will once again look towards the Mediterranean to celebrate one of its most special nights of the summer. The Fiesta de la Luna will take place on Friday 31 July, from 9 pm, on the promenade and beach of Sabinillas, which will be transformed into a large open-air stage full of magic, music and performances.

The event is organised by the Tourism Department of Manilva Town Hall, led by councillor Agustín Vargas, and forms part of the municipality’s summer programme. The aim is to bring residents and visitors together for an evening designed for all audiences, with themed activities and a festive atmosphere by the sea.

A white night by the Mediterranean

The programme will begin with a special beach experience and a Manilva wine tasting, as well as a shamanic or esoteric journey with limited places. From there, the promenade will come alive with stilt walkers, fantasy characters and white-themed parades.

Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in white, a tradition that helps strengthen the visual identity of the celebration and creates a striking atmosphere around Sabinillas beach.

Acrobatics, fire and fantasy

One of the most eye-catching moments of the night will be the two aerial acrobatics performances, scheduled for 10 pm and 11 pm. The programme will also include a fire and fantasy batucada, bringing rhythm and energy to the main stage.

The Fiesta de la Luna combines several scenic elements: music, movement, fire, roaming characters and visual effects designed to create a magical atmosphere on the coast.

Music until the early hours

Music will play a central role during the second part of the evening. The band Rockopop will perform from 11.15 pm, before giving way to a session by DJ Violeta / Violetta Arriaza and other DJs who will keep the party going into the early hours.

Performances by DJ Loco and DJ Pablo Drazza are also planned, bringing the musical finale to a night designed for dancing and enjoying summer by the beach.

A consolidated summer event in Manilva

Tourism councillor Agustín Vargas has invited residents and visitors to take part in this celebration, which attracts more people every year and has become one of the municipality’s standout summer events.

With this proposal, Manilva strengthens its summer leisure calendar with a night that brings together culture, entertainment, music and a natural seaside setting in one of Sabinillas’ most recognisable locations.
