‘Machos Alfa’ seeks extras in Marbella for filming of its sixth and final season
The popular Netflix comedy will return to the Costa del Sol to film new scenes on July 7 and is looking for men and women aged between 60 and 70
Marbella will once again become a filming location for ‘Machos Alfa’. The Spanish Netflix comedy is returning to Málaga province to shoot scenes for its sixth season, which will also bring the series created by Laura and Alberto Caballero to an end.
Filming is scheduled to take place on July 7, and the production team has opened a casting call for featured extras to appear in the scenes being recorded in Marbella.
This will not be the first time the series has visited the Costa del Sol. Its second season included scenes filmed in Marbella as well as several locations in Málaga city, including Calle Alcazabilla and a beach restaurant in Pedregalejo.
What profiles is the Marbella casting looking for?
The casting call is open to men and women aged between 60 and 70, preferably with some previous acting experience, as the production is seeking featured extras.
Unlike standard background performers, featured extras may be asked to carry out specific actions during a scene or briefly interact with the main cast.
PZ Agencia de Casting is looking for people with an elegant appearance, tanned skin and dark or grey hair. The profile resembles retired residents or visitors enjoying the sun and lifestyle of the Costa del Sol.
The work is paid, and successful applicants will be officially registered with Spain’s Social Security system for the day of filming.
How to apply for the ‘Machos Alfa’ casting
Anyone interested in taking part should send their application by WhatsApp to 657 944 776.
Applicants must include:
- Full name.
- Age.
- Height.
- Clothing size.
- Recent photographs.
The casting agency will assess whether candidates match the requested profile and are available in Marbella on July 7.
Pedro, Raúl, Santi and Luis prepare to say goodbye
The sixth season will bring the story of Pedro, Raúl, Santi and Luis to a close. The four friends are played by Fernando Gil, Raúl Tejón, Gorka Otxoa and Fele Martínez.
Throughout the series, the characters have tried to adapt to social change and embrace a new idea of masculinity. However, their attempts to become exemplary fathers, responsible partners and flawless allies repeatedly end in uncomfortable and chaotic situations.
The final season will consist of ten episodes and will reunite the main cast, including María Hervás, Kira Miró, Paula Gallego and Raquel Guerrero.
Cayetana Cabezas, María Adánez, Patricia Conde, María Romanillos, Joaquín Reyes and Manuela Velasco will also appear in the final instalment.
The Netflix production returns to Málaga
Before returning to Marbella, the production team filmed scenes for the final season in Madrid and Valladolid.
The new shoot strengthens the series’ connection with Málaga province, which previously provided the backdrop for the characters’ trip to the Costa del Sol.
Produced by Contubernio Films, the comedy released its fifth season on Netflix in April 2026 and quickly became one of the platform’s most-watched titles.
The final episodes will continue exploring the identity crisis of four men attempting to navigate changing expectations around relationships, fatherhood and masculinity, usually with more enthusiasm than good judgement.
