Eva Longoria, host of the Global Gift Foundation's charity gala in Marbella

Marbella will host the 15th edition of the Global Gift Gala on July 25th, one of the charity events that raises the most funds during the summers on the Costa del Sol, with actress Eva Longoria serving as the honorary host. The event, set to take place at the Don Carlos hotel, will also be attended by actor Diego Boneta, actress Begoña Vargas, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, Vicky Martín Berrocal, and international artist Greeicy. During the evening, the Global Gift Humanitarian Award will be presented to singer Carlos Rivera, while Elsa Collins will receive the Women Empowerment Award for her work in promoting leadership and female empowerment. The Global Gift Foundation raises funds through this event to finance charitable programs that the organization develops at its multidisciplinary center, Casa Ángeles, where it supports about a hundred families and offers specialized therapies for children with special needs and support for their family environments. "Marbella demonstrates, once again, that the international promotion of a city can be linked to solidarity and a top-level tourist event," states Mayor Ángeles Muñoz. The Global Gift Foundation and the City Council postponed the presentation of the gala minutes before the event was due to start on May 28th, due to disagreements over the duration of the event. The City Council had allocated 15 minutes for the presentation, a duration that the Global Gift Foundation considered insufficient.
