Boxer Joe Fournier and Mandala Group have teamed up to reopen the old Olivia Valère club as an electronic music temple with the Bonbonniere Marbella nightclub, which will reopen its doors on June 12th featuring performances by house music icon Claptone, as announced by the property this Thursday.

The location of Bonbonniere Marbella is the former Olivia Valere nightclub, where the queen of Marbella nightlife once gathered international celebrities and Hollywood stars. The intention of the renovated space is to recover this historic legacy, elevate it, and continue to write the best chapters of Marbella's nightlife history in golden letters.

For this purpose, Mandala Group and the creator of the Bonbonniere brand, Joe Fournier, a businessman and boxer who maintains a privileged contact list including Usher, Paris Hilton, Kendall Jenner, and Emily Ratajkowski, have formed an alliance.

Following the closure of the Olivia Valère club, the new ownership has stated in a press release that they have spared no expense, investing a total of over 15 million euros to update and breathe new life into this historic venue.

Thus, it will maintain the characteristic oriental charm of the building with brutalist architectural contributions, giving the space a unique character dominated by shades of red, maroon, and black, typical of the Bonbonniere brand.

The opening of the new nightclub will take place on June 12th, an event that will feature a performance by house music icon Claptone, followed on the 13th by Macarena Hoffman and Discoside.

DJ Lineup

The DJ lineup at Bonbonniere will include electronic music masters such as Agents of Time, the Italian duo that triumphed at TomorrowLand Winter; Artbat, the group that sold out their May 2024 concert, the first electronic music concert at Santiago Bernabéu; and Carlita, a sensation at Coachella and Burning Man with her fusion of electronic music and folklore.

Also performing will be Diplo, a DJ and producer famous both as a solo artist and with his well-known groups LSD, Silk City, and Jack Ü; Hugel, a reference in Latin and Afro house; Kaz James, a staple in the Australian genre; Seth Troxler, a headliner at iconic events like Glastonbury, Movement, or Sónar; and Vintage Culture, ranked 9th in DJmag and a constant creator of viral hits.
