Raule, a tribute to Manuel Carrasco and Óliver Gil, headline the San Juan Night in Torre del Mar.

The First Deputy Mayor of Vélez-Málaga and Deputy Mayor of Torre del Mar, Jesús Pérez Atencia, presented this Wednesday the official program for the 2026 Night of San Juan. The event, considered the "kick-off to summer" for the town, will be held on Tuesday, June 23 at El Copo Beach, once again shaping up to be one of the most massive and traditional events in the Axarquía region.

The musical lineup on the main stage will start at 9:00 PM with a Tribute to Manuel Carrasco, reviewing the greatest hits of the artist from Huelva. The highlight of the night will come at 10:00 PM with a concert by Raule, an artist in full national expansion who lands on the Torre del Mar coast to connect with the audience right on the beach. After the day changes, starting at midnight, the artist Óliver Gil will be in charge of closing the evening and getting the attendees, especially the younger ones, to dance.

Maritime tradition and popular gastronomy

Beyond the live performances, Pérez Atencia has reminded that the Night of San Juan in Torre del Mar maintains its identity markers. Therefore, attendees will enjoy the traditional free sardine skewering, an essential element to highlight the local and maritime flavor of the town. Additionally, the program continues with the iconic Júas Contest, created in collaboration with local clubs and associations, and the grand fireworks display that will light up the sky after the midnight bonfires.

Four days of Maritime Market on Paseo de Larios

As a prelude and complement to the great night of fire, Torre del Mar will set up a Maritime Market in the central Paseo de Larios from Saturday 20 to Tuesday 23 of June. This initiative seeks to invigorate the urban center over four consecutive days with artisan stalls, animations, and family entertainment options.

The deputy mayor has highlighted that all this organizational effort aims primarily to support the local commercial and hospitality sector at the start of the high season. "We are putting all our efforts into projecting the image of a positive town that looks forward to summer with optimism," concluded Atencia, inviting residents from across the province to join the festivities by the Mediterranean.
