Estepona Celebrates Its White Night with Maldita Nerea as the Star

The 2026 White Night in Estepona will offer free cultural and leisure activities and will feature a major attraction: the pop band Maldita Nerea. ... The concert is part of the program designed by the Estepona Town Hall for the upcoming June 6th, which was announced this Monday by the Councilor for Culture and Festivities, Macarena Diánez. The performance of the authors of 'The Secret of the Turtles' will be at 23:00 hours in the Chess Square.

In the old Adult Center on Terraza Street, a laughter therapy workshop will be held by Isabela Méndez, actress, oral narrator, integral artist, writer, and laughter therapist, while at the Casa de las Tejerinas, a creative painting workshop on fabric fans will be conducted by María Rupa, head of the 'Art a plan' project. Both workshops will have limited places to 25 people per session, at 20:00 and 21:00 hours, and to register it is necessary to send an email to cursoscultura@estepona.es by June 4th, specifying identity and contact, and the name of the workshop and desired shift.

The Library of Contemporary Cultures at Mirador del Carmen will host at 20:30 hours the conference 'Dressing the emotion; the eternity of David Delfín'. The event is presented as an opportunity to rediscover the late creator, whose influence remains strong in new generations of artists and designers. Modern dance and acrobatic dance will come to the Botanical Orchid Park with a show inspired by Beyoncé

Other varied activities of The White Night will include the parade 'The Land of Wonders', starting at 21:00 hours from the Botanical Orchid Park, where you can then enjoy a dance show full of variety, strength, and emotion, by the Ocean School of Dance and Acrobatics, by Laura and Sara Perea. On stage, styles such as modern dance, contemporary dance, and acrobatic dance will come together, ending with a show inspired by Beyoncé.

Regarding music, the Estepona Magnum Mysterium Choir will offer the concert titled 'Sones de luz y color' at 21:30 hours in San Francisco Square, under the direction of Miguel Ángel Garrido Sánchez, with piano accompaniment by Brigitta Kovács and the performance, as a soloist, of the soprano Isabel Moreno.

Poetry, theater, and museums

Additionally, Manilva Square will host the poetic recital 'Through the light. A narrated flamenco opera', with the artist Fernando Vacas and the narrator Juan Antonio Bernier, featuring the collaboration of Lourdes Bazán's Dance School, local headquarters of the Flamenco School of Andalusia. Theater will also be a protagonist on this cultural night, with the performance of the amusing theatrical comedy 'Fly fly', at 22:00 hours, in Clock Square. An opportunity to know the adventures of the handsome Bernardo and his three flight attendants.

During The White Night, several museum spaces in the city will open free of charge to the public from 20:00 to 00:00 hours. As explained by the Councilor for Historical Heritage, Daniel García, at the Casa de las Tejerinas, the contemporary art exhibition 'Tribute to Mario Algaze', from the private collection of Jorge Reynardus, and the pictorial exhibitions of the painter and designer Isabelle Taieb Nicolaï and of the Burgos-born artist based in Estepona, Pilar Ruíz Manso, will be available for viewing. Likewise, the San Luis Castle will also remain open during these extraordinary hours.

Lastly, those interested in visiting the facilities of the Interpretation Center of the Megalithic Necropolis of Corominas, in the Municipal Park San Isidro Labrador, can enjoy a guided tour at 20:00 hours, with prior registration at the phone number 675 942 975.
