The Padre Manuel Cultural Center Library in Estepona will open on Sundays.

The municipal library of the Padre Manuel Cultural Center in Estepona will reopen on Sundays between May 23 and June 28, with the aim of facilitating the preparation for competitive exams, end-of-course exams, and university entrance tests for students, as reported this Monday by the Councilor for Culture, Macarena Diánez.

The councilor has indicated that this initiative responds to the demand from students and candidates, who need appropriate study spaces during particularly intense academic periods.

This measure, which continues for another year due to its warm reception and proven utility in previous editions, will take effect on the last weekend of May and will continue until the end of June, as highlighted by the City Council in a statement.

For this purpose, the municipal library, located in the Padre Manuel Cultural Center, has set up the Antonia Guerrero room, located on the second floor of the building, specifically for studying, consulting, and individual work.

Specifically, the municipal official has specified that the room will be open on Sundays, with hours from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 21:00.

With this measure, students will have access to a public space that promotes concentration and academic performance during a crucial stage of the academic year. With this, the City Council aims to support the preparation for competitive exams, end-of-course exams, and university entrance tests for students.

On the other hand, the María Zambrano room of the municipal library, located on the first floor of the Padre Manuel Cultural Center, will maintain its usual public service hours, from Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 21:00 hours, continuously, and on Saturdays, from 10:00 to 14:00 hours. This cultural space is dedicated to the usual service of lending books, movies, and music.
