The tenth edition of EsteponGO! consolidates Estepona as a benchmark in geek culture

The city of Estepona will celebrate on February 14 and 15 the 10th edition of EsteponGO!, the Manga, Video Games, and Alternative Culture Fair, which will once again take place at the Exhibition and Conference Palace. The event has been presented by the Councilor for Youth, Julia Simón, and Daniel Ferrer León, linked to Kaijus Games Club and Eventos GO!

"The celebration of this tenth edition comes after the success of EsteponGO! 2025, held on February 1 and 2 last year, corresponding to the ninth edition of the fair. That event gathered thousands of attendees and offered a wide variety of activities, confirming the warm reception of an event that was not the first in the city and was born years ago with the aim of promoting alternative leisure, creativity, and youth coexistence," Simón assured.

For his part, Daniel Ferrer indicated that "since its inception, EsteponGO! has experienced sustained growth year after year both in the number of visitors and in the quality of content, exceeding the figure of 3,000 people in the latest editions held."

The programming for this tenth edition offers more than 80 activities and particularly strengthens the video game area, with two distinct gamer zones that will combine next-generation consoles, retro and virtual reality, and another with lesser-known titles that, in addition to freeplay, will host up to four classic tournaments such as Destrega, Monmusu Gladiator, Daytona USA, or the presentation of Paloo Spiral. In addition, there will be a Beyblade X area throughout the day and a major tournament on Sunday, February 15, in which the SBBL, the official Beyblade organization in Spain, will participate.

Another tournament that will attract attention is the Mario Kart World with the new Nintendo Switch 2, in addition to virtual reality sessions with Metaquest, collectible card games, and, as a novelty, the event will incorporate the Yakusoku themed area, dedicated to Japanese culture and with more than twenty proposals including workshops, immersive experiences in the Land of the Rising Sun, and decorated spaces.

Digital creators and K-Pop

EsteponGO! will also feature prominent guests from the fields of dubbing, acting, and digital content creation, including content creator Escardi; the alter ego of Juan M. Barranco, a dubbing actor and YouTube star; actor, performer, and creator Noah de Diego, known for his roles in Try (2018), Breathe (2024), and Medical Center (2015) and the well-known dubbing actress Ana Cremades who voiced iconic characters like young Son Goku, young Son Gohan, and Son Goten in the famous Dragon Ball saga.

Coinciding with Valentine's Day, attendees can enjoy Geek Weddings and a commercial area, called Artist Alley, where fans can purchase merchandise and original works from more than 30 artists attending the event. There will also be exhibitions of Hollow Knight, Knights of the Zodiac, or life-size characters from Kimetsu no Yaiba. "We leave more surprises for this upcoming weekend," Daniel Ferrer admitted.

There will also be a space dedicated to K-Pop dance contests with more than 450 euros in prizes, as well as Cosplay and mini-Cosplay contests, karaoke, thematic workshops by the Sevillian association Onyxia, and a meeting with K-Pop Warriors and characters like Miku.
