Diego and Hugo Aguilar Company.

Two brothers, one heartbeat: A Matter of Time is an intimate encounter with flamenco that explores heritage, memory, and family ties. Diego and Hugo Aguilar share the stage in a dialogue where inherited culture meets personal choice, the past pulses in the present, and mutual admiration transforms into creative freedom.

The performance begins with the presence of their father, triggering a living memory that drives the performers to explore tradition and at the same time, carve their own path. Each movement and each silence reveal the strength of identity, maturity, and the connection between the brothers, inviting the audience to experience a unique encounter with deep and authentic flamenco.

Diego (born 1999) and Hugo (born 2003) have been part of renowned companies such as the National Ballet of Spain and the Andalusian Flamenco Ballet, respectively. In 2025, they received several awards at the Spanish Dance and Flamenco Choreographic Competition, including one from the Jerez Festival.

A Matter of Time is a mutual recognition. A living space between two. A celebration of the now. And a promise of what is to come.
