Miguel is a compulsive liar whom everyone else lies to. His lover, the wife of his best friend Pablo, threatens to reveal their affair. Laura, Miguel's wife, suspects her husband's infidelity.
After much effort and quite a bit of bad faith, Miguel manages to convince everyone involved of the disadvantages of telling the truth and the benefits of keeping it hidden.
But does he really know that truth?
"The Truth" tackles a universal theme: the thin line between truth and lies in our everyday lives. It's a deep-cutting comedy that exposes our hypocrisies and confronts us with uncomfortable questions. How much of our social coexistence is based on "white" lies? What happens when those hidden truths come to light? The play doesn't seek to moralize, but rather invites us to observe, laugh, and reflect.
