The Sierra Blanca Estates Marbella Half Marathon 2026 will take place on Sunday, 27 September 2026, once again turning Marbella into one of the main running events on the Costa del Sol.

The main race will start at 9:00 am from the Marbella Welcome Arch and finish at Parque Mediterráneo, in the El Pinillo area. The 21.097-kilometre course is certified by the Andalusian Athletics Federation and follows a mostly flat route combining sport, Mediterranean scenery and some of Marbella’s most recognisable locations.

The event reaches its 39th edition and is expected to bring together thousands of runners. The race day will include the half marathon, relay races and the Charity 5K, a shorter distance with a social purpose. According to the official runner guide, the half marathon has a time limit of 2 hours and 40 minutes, while the Charity 5K will start at 9:05 am.

The route will pass through areas such as the N-340, Avenida Severo Ochoa, the seafront promenade, Puerto Deportivo, Puerto Banús, Río Verde, El Pinillo and the access to Parque Mediterráneo. Each kilometre will be marked and the course will be supervised by Local Police, Civil Protection and race staff.

Beyond the competition, the event is designed as a celebration of sport, health, wellbeing and community participation. The organisers will release a final batch of 150 additional race entries on 1 September 2026 at 9:00 am, according to Marbella Town Hall.
