Marbella Joins International Bisexual Visibility Day

The Marbella City Council joins the claim of the International Day of Bisexual Visibility, which is celebrated today, September 23, with a ... awareness campaign under the slogan 'Marbella (Bi)-sible', which includes the dissemination of posters, flyers, and commemorative postcards. The initiative aims to make the reality of bisexual people visible and to combat the prejudices and stereotypes that still persist around this sexual orientation.

For this purpose, an informative infographic titled 'Myths and Realities about Bisexuality' has been designed, which will be distributed in poster and flyer format in municipal spaces. Additionally, postcards with the slogan 'Marbella (Bi)-sible' have been produced, which will be available at the different Tourist Offices, with the aim of bringing the message of diversity to visitors and tourists as well.

The delegate for Equality and Diversity, Isabel Cintado, emphasized that "the campaign aims to bring a positive and inclusive message to the citizens, breaking the false myths surrounding bisexuality and reinforcing Marbella's commitment to diversity and equality." Furthermore, she added that with this action, "the City Council reaffirms its will and commitment to continue promoting policies of equality and respect towards the LGTBI community, placing diversity as a fundamental value for the city."
