Miguel Poveda will present his new show 'The Tree of Joy' in Torremolinos.

Flamenco artist Miguel Poveda will arrive in Torremolinos on November 29 with his new show 'El árbol de la Alegría' ('The Tree of Joy'). The singer comes to the Costa del Sol with a project that "goes beyond a Christmas carol album" and that "has become an exciting journey through memory, roots, and the spirit of Christmas." In this work, Poveda "reveals himself as a performer and composer, writing most of the lyrics and music, and each song becomes a unique piece where the root, love, and truth beat," according to a statement from the organizers. The renowned artist will be accompanied on guitar by Jesús Guerrero, who will also handle the arrangements and production. Poveda's new album exudes "freshness and emotion, inviting the audience to remember, celebrate, and feel a bright and shared Christmas." Thus, it is also a "return to childhood" for Poveda in Badalona (Barcelona), a humble neighborhood where, despite difficulties, "joy and family unity always ignited the Christmas spirit." With this proposal, the artist once again shows his versatility and music in a theme he "had never recorded before," navigating between the traditional and the contemporary, with a personal and renewed perspective.
