Last night, the singer-songwriter from Malaga, María Peláe, put on a sweeping show at the grand stage of Castillo Sohail, as part of the Marenostrum Fuengirola 2025 series, ... which gathered hundreds of attendees for an evening full of rhythm, message, and sharp humor.

From the first chord, Peláe captivated the audience with her charisma and distinctive voice, performing iconic songs from her repertoire along with new compositions that drew ovations, offering a vibrant show with her characteristic style that blends flamenco, copla, and pop.

"Family, you don't know how happy I am to be here at Castillo Sohail, where I was a few years ago watching other artists and thinking... can you imagine ever playing at Castillo Sohail? So, you can't imagine what it means to be here today with you. My goal is for you to leave through those medieval doors a little happier," the Malaga native assured her fans amidst jokes.

The staging, intimate yet full of liveliness, made every corner of Castillo Sohail shine, providing the perfect setting for an evening where the singer alternated between moments of intense flamenco and others of freshness and humor, a hallmark of her style.

Each song was enthusiastically received, and the audience joined in by singing along to the lyrics of her tunes, creating a close and festive atmosphere. Her fans enthusiastically supported her with hits like "Mi tío Juan," "La niña," "Y quién no," and the emotional "Que vengan a por mí," in a night that was filled with both laughter and poignant moments.

María Peláe, accompanied by a band of great musicians, once again demonstrated her ability to combine tradition and modernity, with an unparalleled presence and a clear and courageous discourse on freedom, identity, and equality.
