The Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) of Marbella has already sold 60 percent of the tickets for the 40th Gala Dinner, which will be held on August 2 at Finca La Concepción, and the details were announced today at Nosso Beach Club. The councilor for Social Rights, Isabel Cintado, attended the event and emphasized that "it is an event that also pays tribute to an exemplary career and the tireless work carried out by professionals and volunteers." "Behind each campaign and action they undertake, there is a significant impact on people's lives," she highlighted.

For his part, the president of the entity, Santiago Gómez-Villares, detailed that 25 corporate tables have already been sold and more than 400 covers have been surpassed. He explained that the organization's goal is to reach 700 diners for the first time. "Thanks to the City Council, the more than 200 collaborating companies, and all the people who help us, we can continue to strongly support research and comprehensive care in our city," he emphasized. Additionally, he also revealed that the local board of the AECC has awarded the 'The Fighter' prize, which includes a piece by David Marshall, to actor Sergio Peris-Mencheta, "for his contribution to the normalization of cancer and for giving visibility to those who fight the disease anonymously." He recalled that the profits from the Marbella Gala Dinner will be allocated to the funding of oncological research projects and the maintenance of the programs and services provided free of charge to cancer patients in Marbella and their families.

This year's edition will once again be hosted by Eva Ruiz, presenter of Canal Sur, and choreographer and presenter Poty Castillo. The musical performances will be by Conchita, Modestia Aparte, and DJ Kike Supermix, who will be in charge of closing the party. Jorge Blass and the magician Yunke, as well as the Vintage Experience group during the cocktail, are also confirmed.
