The International Fair of the Countries in Fuengirola, which attracts thousands of visitors each day, has already set its dates for this year. It will take place from April 30 to May 4. The city will host this well-established event, which will feature 33 nations in the fairgrounds pavilions, marking its 29th edition.

In this regard, this year will see the return of "historic countries" at the Fair such as Argentina, Belgium, Uruguay, Morocco, and Spain, and compared to last year, six new nations will join: the Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Costa Rica, and Chile.

In total, the following 33 countries will be represented: Dominican Republic, Brazil, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, Ireland, Hawaii, Spain, Romania, Cuba, Paraguay, Australia, Bolivia, Chile, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Senegal, Peru, United States, Turkey, Colombia, Germany, Costa Rica, Argentina, Venezuela, Portugal, Poland, Finland, Jamaica, Morocco, Mexico, Belgium, Uruguay, and Italy.

The city's Tourism Councilor, José Luis Ponce, assured that this year the event will experience a "quality leap" with improvements in the decoration of the pavilions, more performance offerings, and an enhancement of the side streets, at the rear of the pavilions, which this year will be more lively than in past editions, with the aim of decongesting the main street, which will make the fair much more friendly, accessible, and enjoyable.
