Teatinos Breeze offers free concerts this Saturday in Malaga

The series 'Brisa en tu barrio', which offers free musical performances at various locations in the city of Málaga, kicks off this Saturday with the celebration of Brisa Teatinos, gathering six emerging bands and several DJs from the Recreo Club collective.

The event will start at noon in Parque Héroes del Combate, next to Parque del Cine (C/ Orson Welles, 1). Performing for free will be Something about Tsunamis, Amiga 500, Vancouver, Vis Viva, Pinocho Detective, and Amante Laffón. They will be joined by DJs Rodama, RJayMusicQ, Space Hammu DJS, and La Vida de Jaime from the Recreo Club.

In the coming months, in addition to Brisa Teatinos, attendees can also enjoy Brisa Churriana, Brisa El Palo, and Brisa Huelin. These musical events are supported by various associations from each neighborhood such as Autism Málaga, the Mental Health Association Afenes, the Cultural Association Ciriana, the Cultural Association of El Palo, the Huelin Traders Association, and the Teatinos – Ciudad de la Justicia Neighbors Association.

'Brisa en tu Barrio' has opened its lineup this year to electronic music through various DJs from the Musiluz music school and the Recreo Club collective. The former, founded in the mid-last decade, is a benchmark in the artistic sector of sound, being one of the most recognized academies in Spain. Recreo Club, on the other hand, is a collective founded in Málaga in 2023, composed of some of the city's best DJs. Their performances feature dancing to hip-hop, house, disco, garage, drum'n'bass, afro... offering a different, inclusive, authentic, and label-free experience.
