Marbella Offers 27 Free Guided Walks Through Its Old Town
The first walk takes place on Saturday 19 September at 10 a.m., starting from Paseo de la Alameda. Places are limited and must be booked by phone.
A Walk Through Marbella’s History
Marbella is launching a programme of 27 guided walks through its Old Town for residents, visitors and school groups. Heritage interpreters will lead participants through its streets and squares, exploring the different cultures that have shaped the city.
Highlights include Plaza de los Naranjos, sections of the old walls and the Iglesia Mayor de la Encarnación.
First Walk: Date, Meeting Point and Booking
The first walk is scheduled for Saturday 19 September 2026 at 10 a.m., starting from Paseo de la Alameda. According to the council’s event listing, it will last approximately 90 minutes.
The walk is free, but places are limited. Booking is required by calling +34 952 768 710. Reservations open on Monday 14 September and are handled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The route is adapted for people with reduced mobility, and sign-language interpretation is available on request. The council will publish dates and booking details for subsequent walks through its official channels. See the first walk on Marbella’s municipal events calendar.
