Summer cinema comes to the Marbella skyline with screenings under the stars

August evenings have a new attraction in Marbella. Escondido Rooftop, located at the top of the Kimpton Los Monteros hotel, will host its Summer Cinema series every Monday throughout the month, offering an experience that combines open-air films, gastronomy and panoramic views of the coastline.

As the sun goes down, the terrace will leave behind its usual setting and become a cinema beneath the stars. The programme will feature a selection of well-known films and popular classics, providing a different way to enjoy Marbella’s warm summer nights. Screenings will begin at 10 pm.

Films, cocktails and Mexican-inspired flavours overlooking the Mediterranean

The experience extends beyond the film itself. Before each screening, guests can watch the sunset from the rooftop and discover Escondido’s gastronomic offering, inspired by Mexican cuisine and prepared with ingredients connected to the Mediterranean.

The venue also features a cocktail menu, an infinity pool and a relaxed atmosphere that evolves from late afternoon into the evening. The aim is to offer a complete plan where visitors can dine, enjoy a drink and watch a film without leaving the terrace.

A screening every Monday in August

Summer Cinema will take place on all five Mondays in August 2026: 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 August. Every screening will begin at 10 pm.

Places can be booked in advance. Tickets may also be purchased directly at the venue, subject to availability, although advance booking is recommended.

A summer experience that replaces the traditional cinema auditorium with Marbella’s night sky, allowing audiences to enjoy a film accompanied by the Mediterranean breeze, good food and views from one of the city’s most distinctive rooftops.
