Starlite Marbella fills August with 20 concerts under the stars

The Nagüeles Quarry will once again become one of the Costa del Sol’s major music venues throughout August 2026. Starlite Occident Marbella enters the final stretch of its fifteenth edition with 20 nights of live music, bringing together Spanish and international performers from a wide range of genres.

The August programme will begin with Rosario on 1 August and conclude with Love of Lesbian on 29 August. In between, Marbella will welcome artists including Sergio Dalma, Gente de Zona, Delaossa, Álvaro de Luna, Nil Moliner, Malú, Iván Ferreiro, Vanesa Martín, Taburete, Niña Pastori, Pastora Soler, Gloria Trevi and Nile Rodgers & CHIC.

Most concerts are scheduled to begin at 10 pm, with doors generally opening at 8 pm.

Rosario opens the month at the Nagüeles Quarry

The first August performance will feature Rosario, who takes to the stage on Saturday, 1 August with a set shaped by her distinctive combination of pop, flamenco, rumba, soul and Latin rhythms.

The singer returns to a venue that regularly hosts some of the biggest voices in Spanish music. The concert begins at 10 pm, with tickets available from €29.

After a short break, the programme resumes on Tuesday, 4 August, with Sergio Dalma. The Catalan singer will bring his long career in romantic ballads and melodic pop to Marbella, offering audiences the opportunity to revisit some of his most recognisable songs. Tickets start at €35.

Gente de Zona, Delaossa and a double night of Spanish pop

Latin rhythms will take over the auditorium on Wednesday, 5 August, with Gente de Zona. The Cuban duo returns to the festival with a combination of tropical and urban sounds, alongside international hits such as Bailando and La Gozadera. Tickets are available from €41.

On Thursday, 6 August, Málaga rapper Delaossa will make his Starlite debut. Closely connected to his roots in the city’s El Palo neighbourhood, he will present the creative world surrounding his project La Madrugá. Ticket prices begin at €35.

The following evening, Friday, 7 August, the auditorium will host a double concert featuring Álvaro de Luna and Nil Moliner. Both artists represent a generation of Spanish pop known for uplifting choruses, emotional lyrics and a strong connection with younger audiences.

The evening will also include a later performance by Hermanos Martínez, with tickets starting at €35.

Three contemporary approaches to flamenco

On Saturday, 8 August, Starlite will bring Soleá Morente, Yerai Cortés and Estrella Morente together on the same stage for the first time.

Flamenco provides the common thread, although each performer brings a highly individual artistic perspective. Tradition, experimentation and new interpretations of the genre will come together during one of August’s most distinctive evenings.

Malú and a journey back to Spanish music from the 1980s

The programme continues on Monday, 10 August, with Malú, one of the most popular voices in Spanish pop.

Her concert will cover different stages of a career that includes songs such as Aprendiz, Blanco y negro, Ahora tú and Invisible. Tickets are available from €29.

On Tuesday, 11 August, Starlite will present Noche Movida, a collective show celebrating Spanish music from recent decades. Hosted by Fran Perea, the evening will feature Cómplices, Marilia, Nacho Campillo, Pablo Carbonell and Rafa Sánchez, with musical direction by Víctor Elías.

The concert will revive songs associated with Madrid’s Movida movement and Spanish pop-rock from the 1980s and 1990s. Tickets start at €21.

Iván Ferreiro and Vanesa Martín bring two nights of powerful songwriting

Indie and pop-rock arrive at the quarry on Thursday, 13 August, with Iván Ferreiro. The former frontman of Los Piratas will perform in the Starlite auditorium for the first time, combining material from the influential Galician band with songs from his extensive solo career.

Audiences can expect music from albums including Canciones para el tiempo y la distancia, Casa and Trinchera Pop. Tickets are available from €22.

On Friday, 14 August, Málaga-born singer-songwriter Vanesa Martín returns to the festival to present songs from Casa mía, alongside some of the best-known tracks from her career of more than 15 years.

Her performance will combine pop, copla, bolero, bachata and electronic influences during an evening strongly connected to Málaga and to the artist’s emotional bond with her audience. Tickets begin at €35.

The legacy of ‘Omega’ returns to the stage

On Saturday, 15 August, the auditorium will host Omega 30th Anniversary, performed by Kiki Morente and Lagartija Nick.

The production revisits the spirit of the groundbreaking work with which Enrique Morente and the Granada band broke down the barriers between flamenco and rock.

The concert will once again unite traditional cante jondo, the poetry of Federico García Lorca, the influence of Leonard Cohen and the electric energy that made the album a landmark in contemporary Spanish music. Tickets start at €22.

Taburete and two consecutive concerts from Antoñito Molina

After the weekend, Taburete returns to Starlite on Monday, 17 August. It will be the Madrid band’s eighth appearance at the festival and marks the beginning of a new artistic period following its first break in ten years.

The group will present songs from El perro que fuma, while also revisiting hits including Sirenas, Belerofón and Amos del Piano Bar.

Cádiz singer Antoñito Molina will then take over the stage for two consecutive nights, on Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 August.

The artist will bring his Andalusian-rooted pop to Marbella with a repertoire centred on love, personal bonds and overcoming adversity. Tickets for the first date start at €41, while prices for the second begin at €45.

Antonio José, Niña Pastori and Pastora Soler

The Andalusian presence continues on Thursday, 20 August, with Antonio José. The Córdoba-born singer returns to the festival with his melodic pop sound and a performance focused on his voice, romantic lyrics and close connection with the audience. Tickets start at €25.

Flamenco takes centre stage on Friday, 21 August, with Niña Pastori. The San Fernando artist will look back over a career spanning more than 25 years, during which she has combined respect for her roots with a constant desire to renew the genre. Tickets are available from €29.

On Saturday, 22 August, Pastora Soler will make her Starlite debut. The Seville singer will celebrate more than three decades on stage with a performance shaped by copla, flamenco, ballads and the vocal power that has defined her career. Tickets begin at €25.

Gloria Trevi to perform her only European concert of 2026

One of the month’s major international events arrives on Monday, 24 August, with Gloria Trevi.

The Mexican artist has chosen Marbella for her only European concert of 2026, making her Starlite appearance one of the most exclusive dates in the programme.

The show will include some of her greatest hits, accompanied by choreography, costume changes and the powerful stage presence for which she is known. Tickets start at €29.

Nile Rodgers & CHIC bring funk and disco to Marbella

On Wednesday, 26 August, the stage will welcome Nile Rodgers & CHIC.

The American musician, songwriter and producer returns to Marbella with a catalogue that is essential to understanding the development of funk, disco and international pop.

The performance will include major CHIC hits, alongside songs connected to a career that has influenced and shaped the work of numerous global stars. Tickets are available from €29.

Love of Lesbian closes the August programme

The final concert of the month takes place on Saturday, 29 August, with Love of Lesbian.

The band will perform material from Ejército de salvación, an album conceived as a tribute to friendship and loyalty, while also celebrating 25 years of music.

The Catalan group will close the auditorium’s August programme with its distinctive combination of indie, pop-rock, narrative lyrics and carefully designed live production. Tickets start at €39.
