Fuengirola hosts a free Mexican music recital with Mariachis Costa del Sol

Fuengirola is adding a new musical event to its summer cultural calendar with a recital of traditional Mexican music performed by Mariachis Costa del Sol. The concert will be held on Thursday 23 July 2026 at Parque de España and will begin at 9 pm.

Organised by Fuengirola Town Hall, the event is free to attend and open to all audiences. The performance will offer an open-air evening featuring some of the most recognisable songs from Mexican musical tradition, in a central and accessible location in the city.

Mariachis Costa del Sol, more than two decades of experience

Mariachis Costa del Sol is a group with more than 20 years of experience on stage. Founded in 2001, it is made up of musicians based in different towns across Málaga province, including Fuengirola, Benalmádena, Coín and Málaga.

Over the years, the group has become one of the leading names in Mexican music on the Costa del Sol and in Andalusia. Its work includes concerts, television appearances, music videos, advertising campaigns and cultural events.

The group has also shared the stage with artists such as Alejandro Fernández, Falete, María Isabel, Melody and Lorenzo Ruiz, and has taken part in festivals held in cities including Seville, Cádiz and Málaga.

A family-friendly summer show

The performance will combine voices, guitars, trumpet, accordion, harp, guitarrón and percussion, all characteristic sounds of this musical style.

The result will be a festive and welcoming show designed to bring Mexican tradition closer to local residents and visitors spending the summer in Fuengirola.

The recital forms part of the town’s summer cultural programme, which includes free activities in public spaces and events aimed at different audiences.
