The Costa del Sol has a refreshing plan for hot summer days with Costa Water Park, a network of floating water parks installed just a short distance from the shore on some of Málaga’s busiest beaches.

The activity is designed for families, groups of friends and visitors looking for a more active alternative to a traditional beach day. On the water, users can enjoy inflatable structures with slides, balance areas, platforms, obstacles and trampolines, with life jackets included.

Five locations on the Costa del Sol

Costa Water Park has facilities at Castillo Bil-Bil beach in Benalmádena, Puerto Banús in Marbella, and three points in Fuengirola: Los Boliches, Fuengirola Beach and Carvajal.

Each park offers a similar experience, although the setting changes depending on the location. In Benalmádena, the park is located next to one of the town’s most photographed spots; in Puerto Banús, it is combined with Marbella’s more exclusive atmosphere; and in Fuengirola, the different locations make it easy to enjoy the activity along several stretches of coastline.

Opening hours, prices and access rules

The parks operate during the summer season, from June to September, from 11 am to 8 pm, provided weather and sea conditions allow.

A one-hour ticket costs €20 at all locations. A full-day pass is also available, priced at €35 in Benalmádena and Fuengirola, and €40 in Puerto Banús.

Wristbands can be purchased at the ticket offices located on the beach opposite each park. Children under the age of five must enter with an adult, and both must have a ticket. For unaccompanied minors, an adult must complete the consent form.

A family plan to beat the summer heat

Costa Water Park has become one of the most eye-catching water activities of the summer on the Costa del Sol. Its appeal lies in the combination of play, sport and fun on the Mediterranean, with a level of difficulty suitable for different types of visitors.

It is advisable to arrive early on busier days, especially at weekends and during the peak summer weeks, as queues to buy wristbands may be longer at popular times.
