The sports facilities at Puente Romano, located in the heart of Marbella's Golden Mile, will host the second edition of the Reserve Cup padel tournament until Saturday. The tournament will gather some of the world's leading figures in this sport and will incorporate, for the first time, the women's competition. Among the players competing will be Tamara Icardo, ranked number 9 in the FIP ranking, who emphasizes "the importance of continuing to promote the visibility of women's sports" and the appeal of the competition's format, "very fun and different from what we play during the rest of the season." Miguel Yanguas, a player from Malaga ranked number 8 in the FIP, highlights "the growth potential" of the Reserve Cup and its international impact, while the owner of Puente Romano Marbella, Daniel Shamun, notes that the first edition "exceeded all expectations." "Marbella continues to consolidate itself as one of the world's leading destinations for the practice and development of padel," he adds.
