Rain postpones charity walk to raise autism awareness in Torremolinos

The participation in the 'Torremolinos TEAcompaña' Solidarity Walk, which is heading into its third edition and was scheduled for this Saturday, will have to wait. It cannot take place on this day, April 11, due to the forecasted rain. Therefore, the organizers, in coordination with the City Council, have decided to reschedule the event for May 2, starting at 10:00 AM. Indeed, one of the key aspects of this initiative is to promote outdoor coexistence, sports, and awareness about autism.

The TEAcompaño Association, the promoter of this event, makes it clear that the change of dates, "far from being a definitive cancellation, will allow the essence of the event to remain intact". The event, under the motto 'Different steps, the same destination', aims to gather more than five hundred people.

The bibs already purchased will remain valid, and the TEAcompaño Association will inform about any news related to the walk in the coming days through their social media profiles. The possibility to register via the Entradium platform also remains open.

The activity is supported by the local Administration and the 'la Caixa' Foundation, and sponsored by Aguas de Torremolinos, Martinsa Motor, Caléndula, Café Kuduro, and Restaurante El Botijo.
